AN ORCHESTRA FOR REGIONAL NSW, BY REGIONAL NSW.

The Overture Youth Orchestra (OYO) was founded in 2021 to perform at the Overture Gala Concert in Parkes, NSW. Due to overwhelming interest, the decision was made to continue the orchestra as an ongoing initiative, offering audition opportunities to talented young musicians from rural and regional areas across NSW. OYO is dedicated to providing performance experiences for advanced musicians in geographically disadvantaged communities, while also offering invaluable networking and skill development opportunities. Led by some of Australia’s most promising conductors, OYO brings together passionate young regional musicians who share a love for making music.
